The portfolio has selected a “pool of anchor tenants”, already pre-approved by the fund’s lenders and with excellent credit rating. The fund’s policy requires this pool supply to be at least 60% of the fund’s total rental income. The fund’s existing anchor tenants include:
Carglass are Germany’s largest windscreen replacement company. They operate over 260 replacement centres located across Germany which are supported by over 250 24hr mobile repair units. They service over 800,000 customers annually. CarGlass are the continental European subsidiary of Belron, the world’s largest vehicle windscreen and glass replacement and Repair company who generated profits of €234m from a turnove of €2.8bn in 2011. Carglass are currently responsible for c.15% of the portfolio's annual rental income.
Cosy Wasch are one of Germany’s leading branded carwash companies using state of the art technology designed to clean cars to a high specification using minimum amounts of water. Cosy Wasch are currently responsible for c.25% of the portfolio's annual rental income.
Jet ConocoPhilips operate 525 branded Jet petrol stations as well as 125 umbrella sites at large supermarkets across Germany. Their parent operates 14,300 service stations and 19 refineries in over 40 countries worldwide making it the 5th largest private energy company in the world. Jet are currently responsible for c.3% of the portfolio's annual rental income.
Fressnapf are the EU’s largest pet supplies store with over 1,193 stores in 11 states (including 11 stores in Ireland). With more than 900 German stores, it has completely revolutionised the German pet food market, a sector it now dominates, controlling over 35% of the German petfood sector. Although it is not supplying services to the auto repair sector, it has seen unheralded success by locating beside/in auto service centres.
